I was lucky enough to be interviewed by Erik D’Souza of Crime Writers of Canada this week. Erik has been interviewing all the writers shortlisted for the various Crime Writers of Canada Awards of Excellence. That makes him one busy guy! I had fun talking with him, as always. I’m thrilled that my short story, “Chuck Berry Is Missing,” part of my Estelle Martin series, is a finalist for a Crime Writers of Canada Awards of Excellence, in the novella category. On May 29, Crime Writers of Canada announced that I won the Award of Excellence for Best Crime Short Story, for “Reversion,” which appeared in the April 2023 edition of Mystery Magazine, edited by Kerry Carter.
It’s been a busy week! The lovely Erik D’Souza interviewed me for Crime Writers of Canada about being a finalist for this year’s Excellence Awards.
